I now understand why people have offices for work.
On my Monday/Wednesdays I have a 5-6hr break between classes where I just chill downtown. Because of this I actually bought a little macbook (I feel like I’ve gone to the darkside) so I could work. BEST IDEA EVER. During my break today I got so much done regarding internet chores. When I’m at home I’m usually too busy to maintain all of my pages and accounts on various sites and networks. Too many distractions. Today I managed to clean up a huge amount of email I’ve been meaning to sort/read, cleaned up my myspace, read a number of articles I’ve been meaning to, etc. Coming home after the second class I feel totally ready to create (art, music, whatever) instead of feeling obligated to work on said internet chores. Friggin amazing and it feels great too.
Only have a few more tasks to do before I can catch up to that clean slate. So awesome.
This means I’ll finally be able to get those other shirts done, and get my music up and everything else like:
- Site Revamp
- DBH, Threadless, and more subs
- Updated DA work
- Revamped myspace
- Flash Shorts
- Music
Looks promising.
